Sam takes pride in being the attorney clients can always reach, someone who listens closely and stands firmly by their side during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Professional Story & Insights
Sam’s path to the law began at home. His mother, an attorney, modeled professionalism and dedication from an early age, inspiring him to follow a similar path. While in college, Sam worked at Hemminger Law performing clerical work for his stepfather, attorney John Hemminger. It was during that time that Sam began to truly understand the work: advocating for injured workers and accident victims, helping people who urgently need support, and making a meaningful impact on people’s lives every day.
After earning his law degree, Sam joined the firm and immediately committed his career to representing injured individuals. His practice includes both workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, and he maintains an active trial docket. Clients appreciate his directness, availability, and his willingness to work tirelessly on their behalf.
For Sam, two values guide everything: Accessibility and communication.
Every client has direct contact with him, every question gets answered, and no one is left in the dark about their case. He believes showing a client that you’re willing to listen and work hard for them is more impactful than almost anything else you can do as a lawyer.
This grounded, relationship-driven approach continues to define Sam’s practice and the trust he builds with every individual he represents.
Personal Life
Outside the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife, Allyson, and their three children. Much of his free time is spent coaching his kids’ sports teams and attending local sporting events, especially Drake basketball games. He also enjoys reading and taking walks with the family’s dog, Kobe.
