Chris Ryerson is a dedicated legal assistant supporting the firm’s personal injury and medical malpractice practices. As one of the first points of contact for many clients, Chris provides clear, consistent communication to individuals facing difficult medical and legal issues. Clients value Chris’s responsiveness and steady assurance, especially at times when answers and clear direction can make all the difference.

Before transitioning into the legal field, Chris spent more than 30 years as a veterinary technician. That experience now gives Chris a unique advantage in understanding medical terminology, treatment plans, and client medical records, supporting attorneys and clients with an informed and detail-driven approach.

Professional Story & Insights

Chris joined the firm through an unexpected but meaningful mid-life career change. After decades in veterinary medicine, the physical demands of the work became increasingly difficult. When Chris’s mother-in-law retired from the firm, she encouraged Chris to apply, believing Chris’s medical knowledge, empathy, and communication skills would make her an exceptional fit. That intuition proved true. Today, Chris plays a vital role in helping clients understand the legal process while ensuring each case moves forward smoothly and efficiently.

Honesty and efficiency guide Chris’s work every day. She prioritizes keeping clients informed, offering steady updates and clear explanations so they never feel left in the dark. Whether organizing case files, reviewing medical records, or supporting attorneys in litigation preparation, Chris approaches each task with the same dedication she brought to her three decades working with animals: compassion, attention to detail, and a sincere desire to help.

Personal Life

Outside of work, Chris enjoys reading, fishing, tackling all types of puzzles, and caring for her animals. These interests keep her grounded, curious, and connected to what she loves most. Her lifelong love of animals continues to bring her joy and balance, enriching the empathy she extends to clients and colleagues alike.
